Event Ticket Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Card X Collectables we plan every event around the number of players registered, from table space to prize support and product. This policy explains what happens if your plans change.

Cancelling your ticket

Cancelling more than 24 hours before the event: you'll receive store credit for the full ticket price. You can use it on anything in store or online, including future events.

Cancelling within 24 hours of the event: we're unable to offer a refund or store credit, and no event product or prizing will be provided.

To cancel, email us at enquiries@cxcollectables.com.au or let us know in store. Please include your name, your order number and the event. The 24-hour cut-off is based on the event's scheduled start time.

No-shows

If you don't attend an event and haven't cancelled or transferred your ticket, no refund, store credit, event product or prizing will be given.

Prizing & event product

Prerelease kits, participation rewards, promos, booster packs and prizes are part of the event experience. They're only given to players who attend, check in and play in the event. They can't be:

  • collected by a player who isn't playing,
  • held for later collection, or
  • posted out,

even if the ticket has been paid for in full. If you can't make it, transferring your ticket to someone who can play is the best way to make sure your spot doesn't go to waste.

Transferring your ticket

Can't make it? You're welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend instead. Just let us know before the event with their name, so we can update the player list. The new player receives the event product and prizing, as long as they attend and play. Transfers aren't available once the event has started.

If we cancel or reschedule

If Card X Collectables cancels an event, or changes the date or time and you can no longer attend, you can choose either a full refund to your original payment method or store credit.

Late arrivals

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time for check-in. If you arrive after the event has started, you may miss the first round or be unable to join, and the terms above still apply.

Your rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
